BIGFIX EXECUTIVE TEAM
Dave Robbins, President and Chief Executive Officer, brings more than 20 years of senior management experience to BigFix, where he serves as president and CEO and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. Robbins, who previously served as COO of BigFix, has extensive executive leadership experience in the enterprise software industry, and has led operations and business development efforts at both public and private technology companies over his career. Prior to joining BigFix, Robbins served as CEO of Quippe Technologies, a provider of procurement services for the equipment manufacturing industry. Before Quippe, he was CEO of Lucidity, Inc., and also held senior management positions at Cephren Corporation (acquired by Citadon, Inc.), ULTRADATA, Inc., Automatic Data Processing and Progressive Insurance Companies.
C. Alex Estevez, Chief Financial Officer, comes to BigFix from Datastream Systems, Inc. where he served as President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Datastream, Estevez worked technology companies in consulting roles as a member of the investment banking team at Raymond James and Associates.
Amrit Williams, Chief Technology Officer, has held a variety of engineering, management and consulting positions prior to joining BigFix. Most recently, Williams was a research director in the Information Security and Risk Research Practice at Gartner, Inc. Previously, Williams was a director of engineering for nCircle Network Security, and undertook leadership positions at Consilient Inc., Network Associates, and McAfee Associates.
Philippe Vincent, Senior Vice President for Strategy & Corporate Development was previously a Partner at Accenture where he was the strategy practice lead for the software sector. Prior to his management consulting career, Philippe held positions in product engineering with Alcatel Telspace (France) and Peugeot PSA (France), as well as various positions in IT consulting.
David Appelbaum, Vice President of Marketing, has 20 years experience in the software technology industry in a variety of sales, marketing, executive, and consulting roles. Prior to joining BigFix, Appelbaum has worked with companies including Borland, Oracle, Autonomy, Salesforce.com, and Antenna Software. He has overseen major brand marketing campaigns and product rollouts for the US and international markets as well as highly successful channel development programs.
Dennis Goodrow, Vice President of Development, has more than 27 years of development and engineering. Before joining BigFix, Goodrow held positions at leading technology companies, heading the design and development of numerous technological innovations, including Expediter, the first commercial Applesoft compiler, and the Einstein Writer word processor for the IBM PC. Additionally, Goodrow was director of development for the award-winning LEGO Island for Mindscape, as well as lead programmer for Math Garden. Goodrow is co-inventor of several patents for BigFix technology.
George Billman, Vice President of Business Development, brings more than 20 years of senior level experience in the enterprise to BigFix, where he is responsible for building strategic business relationships and directing company-wide business strategies. Billman previously business development roles include work at PentaSafe Security Technologies, Entrust, and enCommerce. Before focusing on security, Billman spent five years with Forte Software after beginning began his career with Informix Software, where he spearheaded its government market and Asia-Pacific operations.
Gregory Toto, Vice President, Products and Operations, brings more than 20 years of product development and engineering executive management experience to BigFix. Prior to joining BigFix, Toto served as vice president of engineering for HopeLink Corporation, an Internet healthcare application service provider. Before joining HopeLink, Toto led engineering and technical operations for KiraCom Corporation. Earlier in his career, Toto managed software development and engineering projects for companies that included Palm, Apple Computer, and Gynecare/Johnson & Johnson. Toto is the co-inventor of three patents in control automation.
