CUSTOMER TRAINING SERVICES
BigFix Customer Training provides customers with professional, hands-on technical training in all aspects of the BigFix technologies, BigFix Discovery 7 Platform, Content Modules, Solution Administration, custom inquiries and scripting, and related solutions.
Courses cover everything BigFix practitioners need to know, with offerings for Basic Training, BigFix Administration, BigFix Solution Development Fundamentals and BigFix Advanced Solution Development. BigFix also offers options to combine training classes, with packages targeting Solution Administration, Solution Development or an accelerated 5-day complete training sequence.
Most courses take place at training centers in the US, Canada and Europe. BigFix can also arrange group training at customer sites.

BigFix Core Curriculum
BigFix Basic Training (1 day)
The BigFix Enterprise Suite Basic Training Course trains new Console Operators with little or no prior exposure to BES. Through a combination of instructor-led lectures and hands-on exercises, students will gain exposure to tools, skills, and techniques that will help them to effectively perform these day to day tasks using the BES Console

BigFix Administration (1 day)
This course is designed to train BES Site Administrators to effectively and efficiently perform both strategic and tactical BES administration tasks. This is a hands-on course, conducted in a laboratory setting.

BigFix Solution Development Fundamentals (2 days)
The BigFix Solution Development Fundamentals Course trains BigFix Developers, who are already familiar with BigFix console operations, to create custom content using various tools provided in the BES Console. Through a combination of instructor-led lectures and intensive hands-on exercises, students will gain exposure to tools, skills, and techniques for creating and managing customized Fixlets, Tasks, Analyses, and Baselines.

BigFix Advanced Solution Development
(1 day)
The BigFix Advanced Solution Development Course trains BigFix Users, who already have skills in building BigFix Client Relevance, to retrieve aggregate data on the state of the computing enterprise that can be directly presented in Web Reports or Dashboards or shipped to other systems. Through a combination of instructor-led lectures and hands-on exercises, students will gain exposure to tools in the BigFix Console and the BigFix Web Reports interface to build and format effective session queries using BigFix Session Relevance inspectors.
